Radio station finds new identity at university
Brighton's Juice 107.2 has a brand new look and corporate logo
following a competition involving all final and second year graphic
design students from the University of Brighton.
The radio station challenged the university's graphic design department
to refresh the popular station's visual identity.
"We were impressed by the exceptionally high standard of work,"
said Juice 107.2 Director Daniel Nathan.
"From the first briefing through to the project's conclusion,
we were struck by the original thinking shown by many of the students
in the task to totally rethink our radio station's brand identity."
Catherine Grundy and Jana Sandoval created the winning concept
and last month graduated with BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, from
the university's Faculty of Arts and Architecture. As well as
seeing their designs splashed across the City in the coming months,
the winning pair were also rewarded with an all-expenses paid
snowboarding trip to Italy.
