Nurturing Talent/Innovation and Connecting with Industry - The Undergraduate Perspective

view print-friendly version

The Academic Programme in Communication and Media Arts at the University of Brighton runs popular courses. In 2002 there were 1286 applications for the BA (Hons) Graphic Design, Illustration and Editorial Photography courses. Only 116 places were available. We offer places to talented, innovative, committed artists and designers.

We aim to create freethinking and ambitious graduates, by providing innovative courses, offering creative course structures. This presentation showcased student work: highlighting a number of successful in-house and industry projects. The presentation then looked at the University's own Innovations Awards programme, created specifically to encourage and support new, creative and innovative projects and ideas.
